How can a company successfully implement the transition from the ISO/TS 16949 to IATF 16949 or also from the ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015 – and what needs to be changed or supplemented at its processes?
To find answers to these questions, gain an overview and to support companies, GUKSA has prepared a comparison of the standards. Therefore, it became clear which requirements were expanded, which are new and how the structure / composition of the requirements changed. This knowledge serves as basis for a structured and effective transition to the new standards.
An extensive mapping of the IATF 16949 vs. ISO TS 16949 requirements was already implemented in the CSR+ system for GUKSA customers. Furthermore, we are currently developing a GAP analysis application, which will be finished until CW 11. This application will then be available for the customer on request. Apart from the analysis, the resource expenses as well as the risks associated with the implementation activities are displayed. The latter also fulfills the requirements of the IATF 16949 / ISO 9001:2015 standards with regard to the risk-based approach.

The developed knowledge serves as basis for a structured and effective transition to the new standards.
To verify this comparison, we worked cooperatively with TÜV NORD CERT GmbH and went over all chapters point by point during several appointments.
As a result, we got an exact overview of what has to be corrected, checked or complemented for each topic in the companies.
