>GUKSA is supporting the Welp Group in establishing a consolidated, group-wide information security management system (ISMS) in accordance with VDA ISA / TISAX®, thereby providing significant momentum for the future security strategy of the entire corporate group. By harmonizing all relevant structures and processes across a total of ten locations, a unified “WELP ISMS” is being created that sustainably strengthens information security and raises transparency, efficiency, and compliance to a new level.
As the Central Information Security Officer (CIS) for the entire Welp Group, Bastian Krebs (>GUKSA) is taking on responsibility for and strategic management of the project. After more than four years of overseeing two companies within the group, his role has now been deliberately expanded—a clear sign of trust, consistency, and a forward-looking approach. The focus is on establishing a central ISMS framework, standardizing IT systems and guidelines, and managing security processes across the entire group.
The efforts of the Welp teams deserve special mention: Colleagues from IT, Data Protection, Quality Management, and Management Systems are working with great motivation and professionalism to implement the project. Close collaboration, a willingness to embrace change, and a shared vision of a robust, group-wide ISMS define the project and are already making progress tangible.
